He DID live there. Just because he was not born there doesn't mean that it can't be "home" to him and hold a special place in his heart. He was pasisonate about New Orleans way before Katrina.

I've been getting disgusted with things going on in New Orleans and that's how it came out I guess - it has NOTHING to do with Jimmy, which is the absurd hilariousness of it. But the point was - the only point - there are lots of better New Orleans born cooks.
