Nice pleasant post there.. :-? :-?

Relax, JD.

Just cause someone isn't from a certain part of the country doesn't mean one can't cook the food from that area.

He DID live there. Just because he was not born there doesn't mean that it can't be "home" to him and hold a special place in his heart. He was pasisonate about New Orleans way before Katrina.

I watched Emril when Sammy Hagar was there, it was great.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

What does this have to do with Jimmy going on his show?

You mean also sort of like Jimmy? **evil grin**

I've always viewed Emeril as being very supporting of New Orleans way BEFORE Katrina.

That's hilarious that y'all are saying that. BAM. His commercials are lame. I've been getting disgusted with things going on in New Orleans and that's how it came out I guess - it has NOTHING to do with Jimmy, which is the absurd hilariousness of it. But the point was - the only point - there are lots of better New Orleans born cooks.

I don't care. Harry Anderson disappeared - a few too many times he got his head smashed against a wall for shutting down a very popular music venue to have his shitty "comedy" club.

Yeah yeah yeah I know, at least Emeril's is still cooking away. How godBAMned good is that?

And that would be just fantastic, if any of them had a tv show that Jimmy Buffett was going to be on...

According to an email I received from the Ocean State PHC, Michael Utley and Mac McAnally are supposed to join Jimmy on the show. Can't vouch for the accuracy of the info, but figured I'd pass it on.

. .don't matter. .

. .which is why it's not important about the " why " . . .but the " because I can watch him . " . . .

. .same with this cooking show . . .Jimmy, to me . has such a way of making things seem " real life, and fun " . . that it truly doesn't matter what he's doing. . it's gonna be entertaining . . no matter what . .
