There's a huge difference between, "I don't care for this album" (perfectly legitimate, IMHO, as it's an opinion) and (papraphrasing) "This album suckks" (one person's "suckks" is another's "I like this")

I know I will be making my decision to buy based on 10-15 clips on a web site

Because that 15 seconds in the middle of that one song really, really sux

We shouldn't pass judgement on the new cd untill we all have a chance to listen to it while were drinking. I'm sure it will sound much better while dinking a bunch of beers.

but then, I don't come in with expectations... I listen to the music and decide whether or not I like it. So far, I like it.

I've heard 4 of the songs at concerts this year, 1 last year and live versions of 2 others from shows I didn't go to. The only one I'm not sure about yet is Everybody's On The Phone. It's not horrible, but I need to hear that a few more times.

I wasn't sure I'd like that one, but hearing it at MSG locked in the fact that I really like it a LOT. It's an especially fun song live.

Actually I like to listen to new music while driving. If your out driving you can focus on it better.

Actually I like to listen to new music while driving. If your out driving you can focus on it better.

I tend to focus better on cell phone conversations while driving...
