I don't think so...!

Post by Quiet and Shy »

Last night I was fixing rice and beans to go with my shrimp and I opened a can of Trader Joe's Cuban Style Black Beans and found Red beans inside. :o :o I just used those instead, but I was quite amused.

Has anyone else ever opened a food package to find the wrong thing inside??

No, but back in the days before CDs I once bought an album (can't remember which one) and when I got home and opened it the wrong record was inside. Same label, different artist.

Me too! Back in the mid-70's, I bought Living & Dying in 3/4 Time only to find some other LP in the sleeve!! Don't even remember what it was I wound up with.
'Cause I want to be there, I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there ...

I got a cd a few years ago with different cd from the same artist.
Was going to send it to the company, but never did :-?

Back in 1976 I had a bottle of Olympia with a planters Peanut wrapper and two cigarette butts inside.

I bought a Styx 45 record in the early 80's sleeve and all but Bruce Springsteen's Hungry Heart was the record. Still have it.

:o

Maybe I should have our sales department call on Trader Joe's?

(We have a packaging plant within an hour of their home office and at least 5 rail cars filled with black beans headed our way.)
That's a little over a million pounds of black beans. :o

:o Good idea! And when they finish filling all the cans labeled "black beans" they could start filling the ones labeled "red beans"...obviously they're interchangable.
