(yes, I am kidding. I vote regularly in all elections where I have a choice. If the office only has one candidate running, it gets ignored.)
Why kidding? IMHO, if you don't you don't get to b*tch about anything.....

You bet I vote.
evidently I forgot to put in the "no" I was inferring. Blew that setup. dammit.

Always vote AND always research the issues as best I can. Althought the politicians are making you not want to vote, the Illinois governer race, you guys should see these commercials and information they distribute, it is ALL negative, doesnt say their postion on issues, just the other guy is an idiot (which in this case they are both right!)
Wish I could vote for someone that I actually believed in more on a national level. Local you see it more, but national always seems to be the lesser of two evils.

I'm with you 100%. We have the worst politicians from the Governor on down. Rep. and Dem. they all stink.

I vote in every election that I'm eligible to vote in, especially local ones since that's where I can have the greatest impact. I also attend public hearings on issues that I feel strongly about. If you don't vote, you don't have a say and you don't matter.

Between the Illinois Governor race and the race for head of the Cook County Board, the choices are, at times, pretty depressing! And the governor commercials are pathetic, though I think they are probably pretty effective.

I have always voted in all City, State, and National. I might have to miss this one for State though. I put in for absentee ballot about 2 1/2 months ago and it still hasn't arrived.

Since I went away to school, I have missed all of the BS commercials within the IL governor race... and the Cook County situation has sickened me since I first saw it on the news (Luckily, I'm not registered in Cook County so it really doesn't affect me). However, I am voting absentee so I still try to keep informed at least about our race for governor (we get WGN news at 9 up here so I try to watch it whenever I'm in the room at that time)

I try.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I vote. I registered on my 18th birthday and haven't missed a major election since. It is a sacred right paid for by the blood, sweat, and tears of generations of Americans.
Unfortunately here in Tennessee we have a tough choice and a very nasty election going on for a Congressional seat. I don't like either candidate and choosing the lesser of two evils is almost impossible.

I have never missed an election - local, state or federal.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Write in someone... maybe somebody you liked that lost in the primary... Don't endorse a candidate if neither one of them appeal to you, sometimes not giving someone your vote sends a powerful message.

or vote 3rd party. keeps them active, sends the message and all.

I also practice the "if there is no one to vote for, i.e. you are running unopposed; I don't vote for you" school of thought. I kinda hope the message of "xxx, xxx voted for this office at the top of the ticket, but only x,xxx voted for Judge so-and-so.." goes thru as a "that was a heck of a drop off and we need to run candidates" rather than, "hey, he/she's a great candidate so no one had to vote any other way"
