Hey all,

Anyone have any favorite artists that have a similar Carribean-Country-Pop-Rock style like JB? I am throwing an island themed party and want some new music to play. Thanks!!

My favorites are Sunny Jim, Gary Seiler, Scott Kirby, Mark Mulligan, Jim Morris, Mark Northey and Jake and the half-conched band.

Their CDs are available from their websites or a lot of them are available from www.CDbaby.com

Enjoy the party! 8)

Jim Morris is my favorite, "Tolling for Memaids" is a good live album. But don't overlook John Frinzi & of course the Boat Drunks.

Another vote for Jim Morris and for the Boat Drunks.

For Jim Morris, try Seafood Platter.

Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suit by Jerry Jeff Walker fits into your theme.

I would go with Jake & the Half Conched Band. He is like the old Jimmy, the Key West days. You can order his CD at:

You've got a great list going here. One name I haven't seen mentioned is Jack Mosley....if you ever get the chance to see Jack live...do it!

What I really wanted to say was thanks to all of you who support all of us buy attending our shows...buying our music....and spreading the word....without your support none of us would be able to do what we do.....it's probably not said enough but we all appreciate it!!!!

SO THANKS!!!!

See ya in Key West!

If you can find the "Thongs" CDs, they are the perfect introduction. A great mix.

From there, my next favorite is Jim Morris.

And don't forget the other Reefers. Petery Mayer, Club Trini, Mac, Ralph and others all have solo projects that fit in well with JBs music. The best part is all have their own style so you'll get a new feel and appreciation for some great musicians.
