He always does that.....ragtopW wrote:maybe he is afraid he will forget who is on the show???trojan_sixtyone wrote:Well, it's clear this is happening for no reason other than promoting the album (a/k/a not happening just because they're buddies). If the latter were the case it would make more sense for Jimmy to be helping cook (a la Dave Letterman and Martha Stewart). It would be a lot more entertaining if Jimmy were doing something and Emeril would stop yelling "JIM-MAY BUFFETT!"ScarletB wrote:Possibly it's just weird for him to have to sit there with essentially nothing to do. He seems a bit off. Maybe it's the ecstacy messing with him.

Well I’m a tidal pool explorer
From the days of my misspent youth
I believe that down on the beach
Where the seagulls preach
Is where the Chinese buried the truth...

This reminds me:
Is there any reason why Jimmy usually does Leno but not Letterman in the past ten years or so? I love Letterman and can't stand Leno, but will watch him to see Jimmy.
Anybody know if there's a reason for this?

Friends or no friends would be more fun to have him help out - partake in some witty banter, etc. listening to Emeril yell has never been one of my favorite pastimes....trojan_sixtyone wrote:Well, it's clear this is happening for no reason other than promoting the album (a/k/a not happening just because they're buddies). I think so...this is what I foundgingerbreadman wrote:So is this show done in New York?
Q. I would love to be a member of a studio audience. How can I get tickets?
A. Attending a Food Network Canada show taping can be lots of fun. When a show is looking for audience members, we post ticket information on our Web site. Our programs tape at different times of the year and currently we don't have a show that requires a studio audience. If you would like information on the Emeril Live! ticket lottery for the New York filmed episodes, please visit www.foodtv.com.

Jimmy and Letterman had a pi$$ing contest a few years ago, apparently there's still some bad blood there.trojan_sixtyone wrote:This reminds me:

I don't think I can agree with that. I think he's probably as big now as he's ever been. Just my personal opinion.Pleasin & Teasin wrote:he hasnt done Leno much in recent years, either...He's apparently somewhat out of the mainstream of celebrities these daystrojan_sixtyone wrote:This reminds me:
