I remeber the topic of the similarity, we were flipping through the Sunday paper yesterday. My wife was looking at Circuit City and said "don't you already have this album?" So to the untrained parrothead, it really does look almost the same. However the colors are much more "license to chill",

Remember on MMIM, he does not like to spend the whole budget on the album cover.

And of course it is what is on the inside that counts.

they just photoshopped Jimmy into a picture with a different background. He was scouting locations in Boise for a new Margaritaville. :)

Would a grand opening coincide with a show in Boise?

So is it good or bad they didn't use the "Party at the End of the World" title?

Personally, I liked the FSOTW album cover...alot better than the one they origninally had planned. It's been his best cover since...along time. Better than License, BHOTM, Barometer, Banana, DSTC, Fruitcakes...so...a long time. I know it's nothing special, but I liked the Live T, TH, S cover as well.

Yep- but lets not forget that FSOTW was originally supposed to show Jimmy on a camel wearing a turban. If I recall correctly, the release date was supposed to be shortly after 9/11 so they thought it would be best to redo the cover, which if I recall correctly pushed back the date.....

I'm sure there are pics of it in the Photo Gallery somewhere.
