Golden Caramel Corn Nuggets

Post by conched »

My new addiction is Golden Caramel Corn Nuggets.

I had never heard of them until we bought some at a place called Buc-ee's in South Texas. They were packaged for Buc-ee's.

When I googled I found them packaged for many places.

I don't even know what the heck they are. They are kinda like cereal and kinda like candy. They sure are unique to me.

Has anyone else ever tasted these?

What exactly is the 'corn nugget' part?? All I can think of is corn nuts, which are salty, but good. I wouldn't put caramel on them, tho!

They are like puffed corn with a caramel candy like coating.

Not hard like corn nuts.

They're certainly new to me.

Pure JUNK food for sure.

They sound like Caramel Booty (same as Pirate Booty only caramel instead of cheddar).

Funny... I read and re-read the subject line a few times, myself.

If you read it as golden caramel "corn nuggets" , which I did, it sounds very very strange. What's a corn nugget?

But if you read it as golden "caramel corn" nuggets, it makes a bit more sense.

Coconuts, I thought of the Booty too... I'm guessing it's similar. And yum!

Nancy and Molly, thanks for sharing the signs... never been to TX, and never heard of Buc-ee's, but it looks like it must be a must see.

Road Trips around here are planned with stops at Buc-ees for sure! My favorite one is down at Freeport right before you cross over the bridge and see the Gulf Of Mexico at Surfside!

Tiki B, you must come to Texas. No Buc-ees up by Frisco, but I'll bring ya stuff from Buc-ees if you make it to Frisco Feeding Frenzy Four. :) F-IV
