So is that "Party at the End of the World" video exclusive or is it on the CD?

The "Here We Are" video is on the CD. I imagine it's the same video. Anyone bought the album from iTunes that can confirm this?

The "Party At The End Of The World" video is not the same as the "Here We Are" video. The "PATEOTW" video is not on the CD, but so far only at iTunes.

I have an iTunes, not a Buffett, question. The new version of iTunes has been available for free download for a few weeks now. I've been trying to download it with my prehistoric dialup connection but since it takes so long the connection has always dropped before the download is complete. Is there any other way to get the free upgrade, like on disc from Apple, or am I screwed?

I just bought TTWWY on iTunes and there is no version of Here We Are at all. There is the video of PATEOTW which - since you can only get it if you buy the whole album - is used as an incentive. If anybody finds Here We Are - song or video - at iTunes, please post here. Maybe the song Here We Are is only available on the CD as an incentive for CD sales. I think it should have been a song on the CD, myself. As it is, anyone purchasing via iTunes or other online download services will not hear the song at all.
UPDATE: phjim has posted that Here We Are will be on iTunes. It's just not in place yet.

You can try using a 'download manager' that will resume a download from where you left off. Something like this:
http://www.download.com/Free-Download-M ... ag=lst-0-3
Or you could come out of the stone age

and get broadband.
Is there an Apple store near you? You might try going in there and asking if they've got it on a CD...

I was presently surprised that it was only $9.99 on iTunes. How much was the CD in stores?

Marked $13.99 at my local Best Buy, but it was rung up as $11.99

I wonder, if you purchase the iTunes download, do you automatically get the ability to purchase the video for free once it becomes available? (it's only 2.00 more otherwise.)
BTW thanks for reminding me

I just bought the album on iTunes. I'm going to probably be missing Here We Are (:( ) But the price was right for the purchase (only 10 dollars).

maybe once Here We Are is on iTunes, they'll also offer the Party At The End Of The World video separately??? I'm hoping so anyway.

+1, I'd like to have both videos, too. I bought the CD and was disappointed to hear that there was a different video through iTunes.

So how many of you ipod savvy folks have actually downloaded the video of the filming of The Parbty At The End of the World?
Saw this posted on the Todd Snider list:
...buy the disc there and get a
neato video of the making of "Party at the End of the World" featuring
Will Kimbrough as "Les Nebulous." It's quite worth it--the album is a
return to Buffett's heydey in my opinion.

As Far as itunes is concerned, why not find someone with broadband and download it to a CD, portable hard drive or memory stick. Just a thought
