WOW! Talk about deja vu all over again!!

So, I throw the new CD in my Mac and play the movie. Then I get this weird feeling that I have been there and seen that.

The Tiki Bar in the video belongs to my tailgating next door neighbors from Philly last summer. (53 seconds into the video, the Tiki Bar with the Jimmy Buffett Blvd sign, the show was the night before Katrina hit, August 27th).

As far as I can remember (lots of brain cells have been culled since then), the big guy's name is Jim and he is an elementary school teacher from outside of Philly. On that day, he seemed more sober than me.

And the bra hanging from the Tiki Bar ceiling fan belongs to a really good friend. Well, not THAT good of a friend.

PS IMHO the "Here We Are" video is a pretty cool tribute to JB Phans!!

Looking forward to watching this..... just was able to listen yesterday....

even though we were interviewed by jimmy's video dude ( can't recall his name) at great woods last year, our faces didn't make it. i was a bit disappointed. we discussed how jb reversed the curse at fenway and you know the rest. we did get a shout out though! you can hear it on the concert recording.

however, our tulley mars and crew, along with the lighthouse did. needless to say, we're a bit excited.

tulley and his 2 barbie babes adventure this year made it on the jumbo tron at great woods. probably didn't show anywhere else.

look for tulley's newest adventure next year!

My buddy and I are jumping out of our "outhouse" from the Greatwoods show 1997 in the line " where everyone uses your bathroom" It's me on the right with the hat on.

It's also good to know the year and all.

As I was looking at the Here We Are video, I see so many things that I missed seeing on the BIG screen at the show this year.

Among one of my favorites is this one shot.



Charlie Allen was Jimmy's guitar tech for many years and died while he was still so young.

I find it very touching that Jimmy (or whomever chose the photos for this video) included an old friend of many parrotheads to "star" in this video.

To say that Charlie only tuned Jimmy's guitars would be an understatement. Charlie was a valuable road employee for many years, and was developing a following of his own. Veteran fans will remember his between song stage appearances greeted by a resounding, CHARLIE! CHARLIE! Charlie will be missed on the road. Charlie will be missed at Margaritaville.

We have been on the big screen from parking lot parties at several shows but did not make the cut for her we are... I do resemble the guy with the gut and the hula skirt and CC bra though Gotta love it

this should have been on the album as an actual song... i wish jimmy would write more songs like this... anyway, great little video. i ripped the audio and added it as track 15 in itunes

Thanks for posting that info. Conched. I have been wondering who that was in the picture ever since the first time I saw the video. Great tribute!!
