should jimmy, being on the today show tomorrow to play a few new songs from the new album, be worried that the "new katie couric" might get wise and ask him a few questions about his ordeal last week?

jimmy's always been a good sport, but do you think they would bring this ordeal to the nations attention AGAIN like that?

i'd be worried.

The Today Show is supposed to be part of the NBC News division, not NBC Entertainment. It was news. Meredith Vieira and Matt Lauer are supposed to be reporters. They probably should ask him about it. And since he didn't do anything wrong, what is there to be worried about?

besides, no such thing as bad publicity really, and he could improve on his #7 ranking in music on Amazon.com!

I'll see what it looks like when I pass by on my way to the office. It shouldn't be too crowded outside because he's going to be appearing in the studio, not out in the Plaza.

I almost made the trip from Baltimore. I went to the Today Show in 2004 and earlier this year. I couldn't swing it this time, but it doesn't sound like I'm missing too much.

I do hope they ask about this ordela in France. It would be good if he could tell his side on a national forum anyway. My $0.02.

I would expect them to ask Jimmy about it. It would be weird if they didn't .

Remember when Jimmy came on the Today show right after the basketball incident to explain to the world. I expect he will use the Today show to set the record straight....

Yes, Matt did ask him about the France incident. Apparently the natural remedy he takes (starts with an H - sorry forgot the name) did test positive for Ectasy so in his words - I decided to pay the fine and sit in my 5 star hotel room then to try to defend my innocence from inside a jail cell. He wasn't all all upset about the question being asked and it was funny the way he answered it. He said he would go back to France - no big deal.
