So I'll just tell my preschoolers to sit tight and I'll be right back.

Yeah, that won't be a problem

Here's the link for the home page for the Today Show concert series. The video of Buffett's performance isn't up yet.

I can't watch it yet, the firm blocks access to the video between 9AM and 6PM.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Alan Jackson is going to be on tomorrow, hence Five O'Clock Somewhere.

I thought he looked great this morning, and I thought he handled the obligatory recent news story questions darned well. Matt and Jimmy obviously get along, so it was good fun all around.

I, um, taped it. Yes, I'm a technosaur.

Also thought that the questions about the French Connection were well handled from both ends. It's great to see Jimmy being able to laugh about an unpleasant situation like that, and at the same time, clear up a few of the inaccuracies seen in some of the media reporting.

The question about the drugs was approached very well and handled well and I enjoyed seeing Matt and Jimmy interact. It's always fun to see Jimmy on the Today Show and he and Matt are obviously good friends.

Jimmy's attitude toward the whole drug ordeal was not exactly playful, but he gave a pretty witty explanation for paying the fine and leaving.

It's so much better without Katie Couric acting like a lovesick little girl.

That part was actually weird...seeing JB in jeans... :D It's like, "what's wrong with this picture".

Too bad it was so crappy out this morning. The afternoon turned out to be gorgeous - warm and sunny.
