I had heard that Fingers was going to be in Vegas with Jimmy. Anyone know if he is supposed to play both shows or just one? If just one, which one? Just wanted to know if I am going to get to see him when we are out there.
Thanks
Anyone know if Fingers is playing both Vegas shows?

His website (http://www.fingerstaylor.net) says he's elsewhere on the 28th, so unless he were to cancel that gig, I'm guessing he'll only be in Vegas on the 21st.

Fingers in Vegas
Well, this will probably cause a hailstorm of response, but I'm entitled to my opinion. I hope Fingers isn't there on the 28th and wish he wouldn't have returned at all. Did I enjoy his performances? Yes? Did I miss him when he walked out on JB? Nope - not one iota. Amy Lee did a fantastic job of filling in with the horn where needed.
Am I the only one to remember that Fingers threw a childish tantrum and promptly quit the Reefers when JB said no more family behind the scenes because it was just getting too chaotic backstate? Did Fingers care that he left JB and the band high and dry? Nope! It was all about him.
My guess is he learned fairly quickly that his "loyal following" wasn't going to provide him the income that playing with JB did. I don't know the whole story about how he happened back into the band, albeit on what appears to be a part-time basis, but I would love to know who started negotiations. My guess is it wasn't JB. But, that's my opinion - I could be wrong.

Re: Fingers in Vegas
Whether you're glad to see him back or not (strictly a matter of personal opinion), the reasons he left and the route he took back are private, between Jimmy and Fingers, and I for one would hate to see it posted here for the world to see..... ('course, anyone who has that information is probably also wise enough not to post it in a public place.....)sharkeye1 wrote:Well, this will probably cause a hailstorm of response, but I'm entitled to my opinion. Fingers
No, no, no....I don't want to know or to have it published here!!! I was simply using a figure of speech, I guess. And you are right - whatever transpired is between Fingers and JB. I only knew the gest of what drove Fingers to depart before. So, if anyone does know please don't pass it on!!!! It's none of our business.

I'm just very happy to see two old friends who make wonderful music mend fences and play together again. If someone helped in that endeavor, God bless 'em.
