CRB's missing bullwhip...found?

In the not too distant past, someone on RM (possibly Miles?) was talking about how we didn't hear the whip on Desperation Samba anymore because it had been stolen off the tour bus. This seemed to me to be a sad statement on what some people were capable of, but that's not the point of this post. Anyway, fast forward to todays Myrtle Beach Sun News and an article on prohibited items collected from airport security checkpoints in the New England area. Included in the partial list of "booty" surrendered was "a well worn 6-foot leather bullwhip." Don't know if the band's whip was stolen in the New England area, if it was made of leather, or if my few remaining active brain cells are just looking at a coincidence and making it into something it's not. Don't even know why this story stuck with me this long, but the connection was made, so I thought I'd share. Peace.

Stolen??!! And here I thought the reason DS was whip-less was because Jimmy couldn't convince Harrison Ford to quit his day job and tour as a Reefer...

The fact someone was travelling with a whip and the entertainment it probably provided at the security checkpoint, your connecting it to the missing whip, and just the reassurance that I'm not the only one who construes these types of things in my head based mostly on coincidence, with the right hint of ph logic!
