SAXOPHONES AND EVERYBODYS ON THE PHONE
boy do they sound the same...
"I enjoy this life as a jester
Seems to keep me moving around
Like the wind that blows, tides that flow
I have my ups and downs"
Seems to keep me moving around
Like the wind that blows, tides that flow
I have my ups and downs"

This is why EVERY artist's songs "all sound the same" to non-fans. That goes from Jimmy Buffett to Barry Manilow to ZZ Top.
John Fogerty was sued for plagiarizing himself in 1985, when the owners of the CCR catalog claimed John's solo hit "The Old Man Down The Road" was a rewrite of CCR's "Run Through The Jungle".
Fogerty represented himself, and won the case essentially arguing it was not his fault that he sounds like himself.

it was a great story, and somewhere out there are some attorneys that racked up a good offering to the God of Billable Hours for something that should never have gotten off the ground.jackiesic wrote:Never heard that story before.surfpirate wrote:This is why EVERY artist's songs "all sound the same" to non-fans.
