Nutmeg (left ) and Amber (below) Both are 11 years old now...and I worship the ground their little paws tread on.

They, however, worship my husband :-?

My kitty Squeaky who went missing last February. She's minding the birdhouses... :)
She showed up in our backyard shrubs in October 2004.
Never could meow, just squeaked. See her slanting "alien" eyes?
When we first got her she was so malnourished that they were nearly touching,
and she really looked like something from Roswell.
Not the prettiest kitty, but she was so sweet and gentle.

After seeing hawks in the park down the street, I think she got "carried away." :(
Don't have any photos of our other cats, Sylvester, Misty and Crookshanks uploaded. Or of our dog Little Bear.

All are "finds." I either found them on the road, or they showed up and found us. The BEST kind!

Zman, gotta ask- did you buy the blanket in part because the cat hair wouldn't show up much? I'm thinking about a charcoal throw since Senna prefers to lay on a blanket instead of just the couch (leather).

And the babies are so cute! I'll post pics of mine in the next few days!

Cute pics of all the children!

Here are my two kids. They are the best of friends.

I don't have any kitty-children any more......hubby is too allergic. But I would love to have one again. I told him when he dies, I'll be the crazy old lady down the street with 80 cats......lot of lost time to make up for.

This is several years ago, but these two are still best friends and can often be found in this position:

Holy cow! I didn't think it was legal to keep a mountain lion as a pet!

I had a black calico or tortoiseshell that looked just like 12vMan Rick's Alley, only not so fat (she died two years ago of cancer.) Her name was Nutmeg.

Have y'all ever heard that cat temperaments are linked to their color?

For instance, the tortoisehells are always very quirky.

Yellow males are always very vocal and friendly...

White cats with eyes of two different colors are always deaf...

I heard this from one of those crazy cat ladies who had 40 cats!

Nope! She doesn't even come close to being as pretty as those felines

By the way, the white kitties with two different colored eyes stand a better chance of not being deaf than one with two blue eyes.
