Hi,
I was thinking about creating a topic and see if you would like to learn a little Icelandic tounge, since I'm from Iceland and I live there I can teach you a few words and sentence, I speak Icelandic but I have to write english here for you to understand me.
I'm just gonna' check how many want to learn and I'll teach you something, you can also come with words from english or sentence and I can translate them to Icelandic and teach you
Now who wants to learn a new language?

thanks, but my last experience with an Icelander came up a little short. They may claim to have the prettiest women on Earth, but those women hae no sense of humour whatsoever.

I'll be here tomorrow morning, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to take on a new language.
For my first trick I'd like to be able to order a beer in Icelandic.
We will proceed from there. (Shrimp, chicken wings, round of shots, etc.)

You can't blame someone else for your shortcomings.
in this case, she was 5'3"...
She must have been related to our foreign exchange student. I do believe our Icelandic exchange student earned the nickname 'satan' without even trying.

What's wrong with 5'3"???
Absolutely nothing!!! (Coworker sits at the end of the row- I probably pass him 5X a day. I walked by him in lower shoes while he was standing- he just looked at me and said "I've never seen you when I'm standing, you're a lot shorter than I thought you were!")
