I ...I think I remember Sparks

YES YES!!!! "All you Ever Think About is Sex.... (all right by me!)"

and that was Three Dog Night you're thinking of, W

Sparks also did "praying for a party" 8) 8)

we must have the wrong song..
I am thinking of the song
If you want to get to heaven you have to raise a little hell...
if you want to keep a secret you gotta promise not to tell.

I saw Toby Keith do that song.. My older sister was like... Hey i remember
that song... :D :D :D
Another band I have not heard in a long time, how about "This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us"
I saw them a long time ago at Massey Hall in Toronto
No act of kindness
no matter how small
is ever wasted

Now THIS is more like it! I didn't reply to the other thread cause it just seemed like people listing dislikes instead of an objective list of over rated folks.. I wonder,, how many of those listers are musicians??

You guys hit it on the head with Aime Mann, John Prine, the Guess Who and FEAT!! etc,, but especially John Denver.. seemed like it was in fashion to knock him cause his voice was so cloyingly sweet and he was umm,, "FAR OUT!" but IMHO, he was a tremendously talented guy, a dang good picker and a passionate defender of wildlife and wilderness.

I'd have to add John Sebastion AND the Lovin Spoonfull, Nitty Griity Dirt Band, Jesse Winchester, Lucinda Williams, Jerry Garcia Band, David Gilmour, Johnny A, Michael Martin Murphy, Roy Buchanon, Danny Gatton, Karla Bonoff and oh yeah,, that sax chick,, what's her name??
Amy Lee!
And I can play this here guitar,,
Gonna thank my lucky stars.

Thank you stars!!
