people told me one of the best things to happen this year was to see me run into the side of a moving truck in the parking lot at Lakewood during a rainstorm!
I don't agree about Fingers return. I love hearing him but I wish he would keep his appearances with Jimmy limited so he can keep up with the wonderful music he has helped get out there since he left the band.
I wish I could say the same for Amy. I liked her better in the band and she has only played her hometown once.

Best Buffett moments for my 2006:
1. Number 1 has to be the Vegas 10/21 show and the surrounding weekend. When I made the plans I thought I may end up being alone most of the trip. But meeting up with and hanging out most of the time with Pencil Thin, Mrs. Pencil Thin and Melinda was great!
2. Shoreline, 4/25! I met my first BN'ers out there and they were great people. I also met some other wild and crazy people. People that said, "No tailgate??? What does that mean?"
3. Meeting the Colorado contingent. I know there are still a few other Coloradoans on BN I haven't met, but we've got time. I'm very much looking forward to the tailgate: Pepsi Center, May '07, it's gonna be one hell of a day!!
4. LDOL was pretty good, met most of you Coloradoans again and then some. Made hearing about Penny & E even better.
I love the way you put it pbans:

5. I say, "You too?" to CoMtnFish:

I saw him at least three times in two days in Vegas. Got to see him and most of the CRB up close and personal.
Nadirah's show was great too. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it when I heard it would be an option in Vegas. I don't plan to miss it if I get the chance again. ---still kicking myself for not making it to Steamboat to see Jake!!!

I miss Amy Lee...
But I gotta say that TC can blow that horn....Wow! I absolutely loved his solos on Desparation Samba...!!!
So with the good there is always some not so good.....
Loved the Santa Barbara venue. Heart Attack hill threatened to take some of the faithful but I think everybody got up there OK. The SB Security nazis were a major bummer and I am sure they put a MAJOR damper in a lot of peoples spirits.
Vegas 1 was great. The LMS party rocked as always....only thing better would have been if I could have gone to LMS and Nadira....Got fingers to sign the banner! Got to meet more BN'ers! Hippolyte and the pencil thin's and TxAgGirl and CRC and Santa and saw Dean and..well you know..
The show was awesome and we got a shout out! The virgin friends we took are all planing costumes for next year...I guess they are hooked!
Enjoyed staying at Hooters and talking to some very nice, fun Hooters girls! Sure beat the heck out of staying at the Imperial Palace....!!!
San Diego was good. Unfortunatly the venue director must not be a parrotthead as they sent the RV's and the early (Faithful) tailgaters in opposite corners and it was confusing to get around. In years past the concentration of tailgating effort was in the main (paved) parking lot....Hopefully they get squared away for next time!... Show was great except for the NO inflatables (beach Balls, sharks etc) allowed in rule....Yeah....Like that stopped us!!!!!!! I mean what is a bubba show without beach balls??????
Vegas 2....Hooters Friday night party didn't materialize so we went to Marg'ville....Got to see/meet more BN'ers... TxAgGirl, Santa, CRC, Balcony Girl, and on....I even think we got a few to laugh at our outfits!!! Got to meet CC and Charlston...!! I even got Charleston to take a picture of our crew.... The MGM party was a blast and the show was awesome! In my book it was the best overall (parties+Show+atmosphere) of the West Coast shows! For just a show it was between Vegas 2 and Santa Barbara (it's hard to compete with David Crosby and Jimmy singin' southern Cross!!!). Got another shout out AND Won money FROM the casino!!!!!!!
Now that's a hard combination to beat!!!!!!!
Thanks to all the great folks we met.....!!! Keep on smilin'!

Oh yeah.....
All that above and as me and my academy roomate were leaving , he says to me that what really struck him was how it was so evident that Jimmy truely enjoyed entertaining the crowd. He also noted that it was the only concert he had ever been to that was so diverse, yet so joined by the common thread and spirit of the music......

Coming Home from the Middle East and purchasing Alpine Tix while still on orders (oh yea, then attending the concert!)

Dutch...ya met me! My friend even licked your "nip"
Best moment by far was meeting Jimmy at the Hoot special screening and being able to practically sing solo with him. He was so nice and it was a lifetime goal I've had since I was 16. I felt very blessed.
The second was being 4th row center at Irvine 4 days after the Hoot screening and Jimmy totally remembered us... My three friends and I stood on our chairs as Jimmy told the crowd we were the "people our parents warned us about" and then I proceeded to fall through my chair while we were on the big screen.....
The third had to be Vegas...it was a totally different group of people and the vibe was amazing. The beach party was great and for some odd reason my friend and I made it to the 6th row. Thanks to the guys that helped us...where ever you are!
But over all...just hearing a Pirate Looks at Forty live in 3 shows has made me a happy camper. Now if he could only play School Boy Heart.

Having a beer with JB at Schooners while he was taking a break from recording. Not a bad afternoon!
