......and others in the know. like many before me, i have now seen jb's plane up close. nothing special, other than it is his plane and he flies it or others fly him around i suppose. anyway, by 8 am sunday morning jimmy was off to other locations. would he have flown out that morning, or did he leave right after the show? also jb let it be known that peter meyer was catching a flight
after the show and was going to have a 4 hour lay over in dallas. why wouldn't jimmy or his pilot have flown peter to where he needed to go, and why did peter need to be somewhere else so soon after the last show? also, parked near jb's plane, was a plane painted in gray camoflage with the i d ....N 2 T......
any idea who that plane belongs to?
thanks for your indulgence

might be that given the rules of incorporation and the contract Peter has with Jimmy for employment, the cost of chartering the plane in terms of fuel, pilot salary, etc. far exceeded the value of the "I can go right now rather than wait on a commercial flight".

It's a BD-700 owned by N2T Inc. at 2250 NE 25th Ave, Hillsboro, OR.

standard procedure is for jimmy to leave the show and go straight to the airport. he's usually on his plane before you're out of the parking lot.

That's a pretty easy jaunt in Vegas!

I know a few years ago they had Peter on Southwest, I saw him at the airport hella early (the year I managed to book my reservation on the wrong day on the way out and miss my flight back- that was an expensive trip, and I didn't even gamble- but I did meet my husband for the first time!). I think he always tried to get home insanely early the next day.

The BD 700, registration N2T, is owned by Oakley, the sports wear manufacture.
Here is a link to it on final.

Notice the Oakley "O" on the tail. It is hard to distinguish as the logo if you didn't know who owned the craft.[/img]

Which would make sense since the NHRA was running at LVMS and theyu sponsor DSR rides.

A lot of sunglasses have to be sold in order to afford a plane like that. I think the same thing when I look out of my back bay at work and see one of Wrigley's Jets taking off! A LOT of 25 cent packs of gum there!

Nope.
Registered owner is N2T INC, 2250 NE 25th AVE, Hillsboro, OR 97124-5960.
N2T has LEASED it to Oakley.
Here are the first two paragraphs of the lease:
THIS LEASE made as of this 6th day of May, 2002 ("Lease") by and between
N2T, Inc., an Oregon corporation ("Lessor"), and Oakley, Inc., a Washington
corporation, with its principal offices located at One Icon, Foothill Ranch, CA
92610 ("Lessee").
1. LEASE OF THE AIRCRAFT
Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, Lessor agrees to
lease to Lessee and Lessee agrees to lease from Lessor that certain Global
Express aircraft bearing manufacturers serial number 9084 and currently
registered with the Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") in the United States
of America under registration number N2T with two (2) Rolls Royce model
BR710A2-20 engines, manufacturer's serial numbers 12283 and 12282, together with
all accessories, parts, appliances, and appurtenances now or hereafter a part
thereof, substitutions therefore, and repairs thereto (the "Aircraft").
I could get you the rest of the lease if interested...
It does terminate on 12/31/2007 if you're intersted in picking it up...it's just $90,000.00 per year. Of course you need to supply the crew, the insurance, the landing fees, the maintenance, the taxes, etc....

90K a year for a 47 mil airplane isn't a bad deal....

I know! Cheaper than fractional ownership. But then of course you do have to come up with all the other stuff which would probably push you over the limit.
