I was just curious if any one has his cds and which one I should start with?
Most of you have heard him on RM, he is the one that plays the medley of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World"

There are at least 2 different versions of "Somehwere...." I can't remember which one is on which album But I always liked the longer one of the 2....

I didn't know there were two versions, but Facing Future has that medley. Pretty good cd, when you're in the mood for something different.

Just last week I bought his album, Ka 'Ano'i.
It's pretty much all english except for a couple of songs and those sound great too.
It has the band version of Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World on it.
The other version of it with just Iz and his ukelele is my fave but the band version is still pretty good.
I do not have all of his albums but this one is the one that sounded best to me from the online samples.
I downloaded the acoustic ukelele version from Walmart.com

Here's a really cool video of that version:

You can't help but smile when you watch it

Ka 'Ano'i is my favorite.

I think it was during the License to Chill tour they used to play 3 or 4 of the first songs from Ka 'Ano'i during the intermission.

Also have Alone In Iz World, which I got as a freebie. It is posthumous and not as good IMO.

I love Facing Future and Alone in Iz World.

WHITE SANDY BEACH on Facing Future will break your heart if you love Hawaii and know IZ's story.

Enjoy!

I agree with ETP, I think Facing Future is worth
buying for just that song. The rest of the disk is really good
as well.

We also have a DVD named The Man and His Music that is
very good.

My parents brought a few Iz cds home from their first trip to Hawaii, he's great!! I have Facing Future. The first time I listened to it, I was on a road trip (by myself for that leg) and car dancing to it. I looked like an idiot, but I was having a great time!

Funny story about IZ's music... I have a couple of his CDs (all of which I Love), anyway, after one of the Buffett concerts in 05 (Thusrday in Philly). My brother and I put on an IZ CD and sat in the parking lot to wait for the trafic to die down. After about a 1/2 hour later the lady sitting accross from us in the lot walked over to our car, apologized, and politley asked us to turn off the "spirtual" music becuase it was putting her to sleep and that it didn't below at a Buffett concert.

I had to explain to her that it was Hawaiian and that any beach music (including Hawaiian) belonged at a Buffett concery... especially at the end of a long day.

Ok, I'll admit that the tours are all starting to blend together, but wasn't Iz featured as the intermission/post show music that year?!
