Silly website (silly title for the thread - blame the Appletons) about horrid/tacky wedding dresses and bridesmaids get-ups.
A Japanese Hello Kitty wedding dress was posted on another forum (Not a bad dress, my daughter wants to wear it for her Sweet 16th....just not a wedding dress)....
Anyway, they had an ugly bridesmaid dresses listed under the heading of 'Jimmy Buffet'..... http://www.uglydress.com/jimmybuffet.html
.....I couldn't let that faux pas go uncommented on. The following is the email I sent:

Other then that....urgh...the dress is ugly, my head hurts, my feet stink and I don't love Jesus....I also wouldn't be caught dead by a gun-slinging parrot in that dress!
However....love the site.....I worked in a Bridal Store in the mid 80s....I saw some truly hideous things. I quit after having to make 12 teal bridesmaid dresses with potato chip ruffle sleeve and hems...I still have nightmares!
PS: You'd have to be an actual (TM) Buffett fan to catch the references in the main paragraph above......but I couldn't resist!
