The Army's National Guard and Reserve are bracing for possible new and accelerated call-ups -- spurred by high demand for U.S. troops in Iraq -- that leaders caution could undermine the citizen-soldier force as it struggles to rebuild. . . . .

On another note, I am sure that if the Democrats gain control of the House in the week's upcoming mid-terms, the Republicans will find a way to blame the mess in Iraq on them, as a lead-up to the Presidential election.

Post-election, I think this will be the Bush/Rove "secret" plan to deal with sagging Republican fortunes.

Hey I got a whacky idea, why dont you post something POSITIVE about democrats sometime instead of just negatives about republicans. I know the negative postings are easier to find, but let's hear something positive to give us hope. Like what do we need to know about Obama other than Oprah likes him??
