What's a fair price to pay for Down to Earth LP

Post by Captain Tony »

At long last i got my hands on a Down to Earth LP. Cover is very good with no tears or splits, just a small corner cut. The LP is near mint condition.
Was this LP ever re-released after 69/70.
I have wanted this album for a long time to add to my near complete set of Buffett LP's, so i bought it on good 'ole ebay for $100.
I have seen them go for more, was it a fair price to pay?
I am happy with what i paid but then i really wanted it

Ya know what, value is truly defined by what you think you got for your money. If you are happy with it, that is all that matters. If you found you overpaid you'd probably be less happy.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

If i have payed too much i will not be less happy at all, when you really want something you will do whatever (legally) is nessessary, yeah i would have loved to have got it for 5 bucks like some others i have but that was'nt going to happen :(

Yes, many times. My boyfriend has most of them so I'd have to check to see just how many there are. You have an original though so it's probably worth every penny.

I've never seen it go for much less than $100 and usually more, so I'd say you at least paid market value.

I dunno about that but I saw Before The Salt in really good shape in a really cool record store in Portsmouth, NH for what I can't remember exactly but I think it was around $25.
