BTW, the Green Flash happens on the West Coast too

I was soooooooo close to a "Green Flash" earlier this fall, but some pesky clouds snuck in at the last minute. I look forward to the next chance though!

Nothing is better than the sunsets in the Indian Ocean. Took this picture from the ship I lived on for 100 days...

We were out and the sky opened up at sunset just enough to "smile" at us.

It had been overcast all day, and there was literally a pink "grin" in the sky just at sunset...it was cool.

That's a very close representation of what I saw yesterday... only replace the ocean with open county fairgrounds.
