What a freakin cool sunset!!

Sure, I'd rather be viewing it from almost anywhere other than my window at work, but it's certainly grabbed me!
Waaaaaaaaaaay orange and purple, with a touch of blue! Awesome!

The sky here was about 5 different shades of ............gray. or was it grey?

"Useless" is pretty stong. I've got about 20 sunsets soaring through my memory right now. I agree that pictures would really enhance the discussion though
BTW, the
Green Flash happens on the West Coast too

I was soooooooo close to a
"Green Flash" earlier this fall, but some pesky clouds snuck in at the last minute. I look forward to the next chance though!

We were out and the sky opened up at sunset just enough to "smile" at us.
It had been overcast all day, and there was literally a pink "grin" in the sky just at sunset...it was cool.

That's a very close representation of what I saw yesterday... only replace the ocean with open county fairgrounds.
