Did you vote?
I wanted to start this today because there may be some mail-in or (as in NC) early, or even dead, voters out there. But did you vote? I do not care who you voted for. This is not a paid (or unpaid) political ad for anybody, so please keep all candidate names out of this post. Please do not skew this with "well, I plan to vote", wait until you did (or didn't) to answer the poll.

Re: Did you vote?
How about a "I DID vote because I want to whine about the person who got elected." ??Y-NO-9-O wrote:I wanted to start this today because there may be some mail-in or (as in NC) early, or even dead, voters out there. Hubby and I will vote tomorrow...there is an important school bond issues (we are for that) and against one man who has run such a nasty and lie filled campaign here in NC, it's made the national news. That man is vile.

I head to the polling place at 5 tomorrow morning to get things set up for my precinct, and some time during my day of working the polling place, I will vote.
And, just as a point or order, people outside the US can vote if they are citizens. We often get overseas absentee ballots, from those in the military and others living overseas.

Then they can either say they voted, didn't vote (whiner) or give an excuse why they didn't vote. I don't feel these people are excluded from the poll. I tried to edit the poll to say "not a citizen of the U.S." but you can't edit a poll once it has been entered. Still, thanks for the point of order. It is always good to have a voice of experience amongst the crowd.ejr wrote:And, just as a point or order, people outside the US can vote if they are citizens.
