I'll be checking that one out fer sure!
That "road to Escondido" is. literally, about 30 minutes away from me
and I can imagine the rolling bluezy notes that could be it's soundtrack

was going to get it. I've heard one song on the radio for awhile. Did anyone get it yet? How is it??

Bought this one today. It's not what I was expecting but it's not all bad either. It's a little slow starting but around song 5 it starts to pick up so if you do buy it don't give up on it too soon.
It's more of a JJ Cale type release then an Eric Clapton one. Actually most of the songs were pinned by JJ and the ones Clapton wrote are more in the style of his 2 Robert Johnson CD's.
I'd give 3 out of 5 stars. No where as good as his BB King duet CD.

A guy that I work with said the exact same thing. He's gonna let me take it home this weekend so I can have a listen. I'll let you know my report when I'm done. I'm familiar with both artists, but not a huge fan of either. We'll see
