Great news! You can download Here We Are as a single from iTunes!

Thanks to Blondn6ft for the info. I thought this news deserved its own thread.

For me, it didn't show up on the track list for TTWWY. I had to do a search for "Here We Are" and find it in that list. A little late and still a "hidden track" so to speak, but it's finally available as a song - on its own two feet.

Thanks SGH and blondie!

Yep, it's listed on iTunes as a single, so you have to search either for "Buffett" or "Here We Are." But at least it's finally there!

I saved the $0.99 (I'm cheap ) and extracted the audio track from the video on the CD.

$0.99 is way cheaper than the frustration of trying to pull the audio.... 8)

Think I'm gonna have to download this one I'm going to assume it's in stereo unlike the version on the CD. So the quality should be a pinch better. (Yes I have a problem.)

??? When I watch the QuickTime movie and pull up movie properties....sound track, it says it's in stereo. Also, the .wav file I ripped from the cd is stereo. [smilie=huh-ani.gif]

True, but when I analyzed the file the left and right track appear identical. Someone else mentioned the same thing.

I ran a filter on it to breathe a little separation into and it helped a tiny bit.

I think you're right. I just looked at it in Goldwave and both tracks appear to be the same. I've seen songs before that were close to being identical, but not like this. I'm guessing the iTunes version is the same?

Not sure, but I'm willing to spend .99 to find out. Maybe at lunch or if not tonight for sure.

Anyone know where I can get the vid that was originally offered with the iTunes album download. I had planned to get that and by the time I did, it was no longer listed.

You'll be frustrated when you reach your limit on burns on that song and have to pay .99 again
