Time Magazine
In this week's Time magazine on the "milestone" page, the announcement of Ed Bradley's passing is written by Jimmy and is very touching.

Re: Time magazine
My non-PH but appreciative friendly neighbor was touched by it as well.fabduo wrote:This week's Time magazine on the "milestone" page, the announcement of Ed Bradley's passing is written by Jimmy and is very touching
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

I was trying to... Here's the url for the current magazine's Milestones: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/artic ... 19,00.htmlpgr17 wrote:can anyone post the article?
It has Jimmy's name, but doesn't have the article.
When I click on his name, a form for letters to the editor appears.

“I was introduced to Ed Bradley by Hunter Thompson 30 years ago in Key West. Ed needed a “combat nap” from the rigors of either traveling with Hunter or covering a presidential primary in Florida, and he asked to borrow my hammock. He went to sleep, and I went fishing. When he awoke, we found the common ground of a couple of ex-altar boys, which lasted until I said goodbye to him in a New York City hospital room last week, where he died of leukemia at age 65.
A lot a people think they are cool. Ed was cool. He was a professional, but could party with the best of them. From Presidents to praline makers, diplomats to dishwashers, everybody loved Ed. To Ed, everybody had a story, and I think his meteor-tail ride from South Philly to trailblazing 60 Minutes correspondent is summed up by paraphrasing a John Sebastian song: “He did it for the stories he could tell.” Along the way, he taught the world and his friends what being really “cool” was all about.”

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....
