I will be visiting Jacksonville Florida the week of Dec 10th for business. I was hoping someone can tell me about must see places, bars, restaurants. Thanks

Darn, you will be missing our Parrot Head Clubs Christmas Party with Jim Morris and the BBB by a week 
Sadly, if we want 'Buffettesque' we pretty much have to put it on. The condo commandos are buying up all the beach bars (cue up Jack Moseley - In my Hometown).
Caribee Key and the Lemon Bar in Atlantic Beach are cool tropical places by the ocean.
If you have time, head up to Amelia Island or down to St Augustine.
Where are you staying ?

I recommend making it to St. Augustine and visiting the A1A Brewpub and if you head that way look up Mark Hart and see where he is playing.

If you are a golf nut or just like the sport. DO NOT miss the world golf hall of fame and caddy shack restraunt. it is a must for golf lovers.Posted: November 23, 2006 10:00 pm
