I'd love to hear Box of Rain, and I bet he'd do a great Truckin'!!

I voted for Ripple, but I think
Box of Rain would be even better.
Or...
Sugar Magnolia
Franklin's Tower
It'd never happen, but it sure would be a blast to hear Jimmy doing Dark Star or St. Stephen!

Yeah but I can stick see Jimmy and Mack doing the "beach band" ROW JIMMY......And yes Jimmy was a Jerry fan and he should continue to pay tribute and play dead songs all the time!

I agree
I do like SB, but Jimmy has enough of his own songs that he could play

JIMMY ROCKS!
Well at least he plays Warewolves of London.....That was always a big hit when Jerry Garcia Band played that.......Also the other night he sang AIKO AIKO....which the Grateful Dead did for YEARS!
I was looking back on the songs Jimmy sang via this site and I noticed that back in the day he did some Bob Dylan covers...not many but I saw he sang SHE BELONGS TO ME!

First, the question was which Grateful Dead Song should he cover not "should he only do his own songs." Second, I can't speak for anyone else who voted "None" but I always thought the Dead s**ked and I'd rather not hear their music at all, no matter who's playing it.
