Ponchos....right....cr*p
I'll happily settle for not being involunarily evacuated.....
Don't even think it!!!!
Nope.... I'm packing extra sunscreen, on the theory that we'll need it! :D
I'm NOT packing sunscreen at all...on the theory that we'll have to BUY it at some ridiculous price! 8) For my hubby, he needs at least SPF 30. I can do 4-8 and be tan in 3 hours. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

But these things can change in a heartbeat

Thanks - I was meaning to look that up.

Looks like "wet and a bit windy Thursday and Friday" is the worst we'd get on that path. But of course, the storm *can* change course.

*I'm* disappointed it doesn't take a more westerly path, so that maybe GA gets some rain.

And I *always* pack some light rain gear when I go to KW. As long as they don't evac the tourists, we'll be fine.
As a friend of mine said "Hey, you'll just be drunker since you'll be spending more time inside the bars!" I have good rain gear so bring it on!

Looks like a little rain on Wednesday, but the rest of the time looks nice and clear. Sunscreen in November? Unheard of up here! I have some packets they gave away at a parrothead party this Summer, that should suffice.

Here's a more optimistic track forecast:

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphic ... y#contents

I'd guess at rain on Wednesday and clearing Thursday, if that's how it goes. And not even all that *much* rain.

But, as we all know...you can't really tell where one of these might be going...

I'll bring the ophicial Alpine poncho. I bought it three years ago at Alpine, while the rain was falling. By the time we got to the lot, the rain had stopped. The poncho never came out and it's never rained on a show where I remembered to bring it along. :D
