I don't suppose it's just a matter of selling plasma twice a week for the next few months to make it?

So this will be the first time I'll be going to MOTM and admittedly I know nothing about it, but when I just went to register I clicked on the "Bands" link and Jimmy's name was first on the list. Do they put this in every year (wishful thinking) or does this mean he's really going to be there this year? Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere or if it's a dumb newbie question.

I think it's wishful thinking. It seems no one knows for sure if he is going to show. Especially this far in advance. It's still a great time and there is plenty of great music the whole week. It becomes a difficult decision on where to be and who to see.

Well, I'm officially (oops sorry I mean oPHically) registered. Have the hotel all picked out etc. I'm embarrassed to say I've never traveled completely solo before (my friends here don't really "get" why I'm doing this) but I have a great feeling I won't be alone long once I get there!

Well, since you're one of the people I'm going to go out of my way to find that's good to know! Although I hope that I can meet up with a bunch of folks at Foxboro well before MOTM. Without sounding sappy I've been incredibly impressed at the PM's I've gotten extending hospitality from people who don't know that I'm not an axe murderer or some other kind of psycho! This is one very cool group of people, I'm completely amazed at the kindness.

Good on ya, you will find no shortage of stuff goin' on and friendly folks during MOTM. Haven't met many BN'ers in person YET but the people I've met over the years at MOTM from other PH clubs are some of best, real folks you'll meet, and I have no doubt BN'ers are right there as well

No worries on the solo travel thing, been doin' it now for 10 years, piece a cake, sometimes it's the only way to git-ur-dun, travelin' clean

I have a good male friend who gives me grief about not taking solo vacations, but I remind him it's a tad different for a female. But as crazy as Key West is I never feel that it's a threatening environment if you use your head. I'm counting on having a "pack" to travel with once it starts to get late though. Big adventure for me
