My grandmother passed away today.
She was 89 and not in great health, so it is not a huge surprise, but it was still a bit unexpected today. Please send some phin power to my family if you can.
I draw some small comfort from the fact that she is once again with my grandfather, who passed in 1993. But this is still so hard.

Losing grandparents is tough, I know.
What you said about her being with your grandfather again is exactly how I felt when my grandmother died.
I miss them both so much.
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.
My love is an anchor tied to you, tied with a silver chain.

Phin (and Tiger)Power to you and your family.

It's really hard to have them go suddenly. Happened with my Dad. Just try to hang in there. You have to know your grandparents are together again.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

prayers and Long Island PHIN POWER to you, your family and your grandmother...
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Sorry for your loss. I know that pain and it made me feel better to remember the good thoughts. Try also framing a nice picture of her. Seeing her smile now may make the hurt easier.
