Jimmy Meet and Greet
Just in case you were wondering what to do with that spare $11,000 burning a hole in your pocket, you might want to bid for 2 VIP Buffett tickets and a meet and greet.

It was my wallet not my checkbook, I paid by credit card. And it was only a 5 figure amount because 2 of those figures were to the right of the decimal point.RinglingRingling wrote:well, you know... think of this as your chance to break your record.. granted this blonde has less hair, and not as much height.. but it's still dinner with a blonde.LIPH wrote:It was my wallet not my checkbook, I paid by credit card. Now I REALLY have to buy those Megaball tickets!!
But wait, maybe I should look at this from a different perspective...If I were to travel to several of Mr. Buffett's concerts around the country in 2007, with the airfares, hotel bills, and miscellaneous costs [very HIGH if Vegas is included], I could easily reach $11,000.....and never get anywhere near him....
However, the bidding goes on till 12/13...who knows how high it might go, while i would have to cash in my IRAs and sell my beautiful young niece to raise $11,000....
{sigh} guess i better go back to the Aspen fantasy

thanks for posting the meet and greet
This would be a steal compared to Vegas, I was suppose to meet JB for a fee of 25k, which while it was steep I was ok with since this is my boyhood hero. Nonetheless a week before the concert the promoter tells my contact, no the fee is 125k, to which I said jump in the lake. I am hoping the bidding doesn't go to high but I have to meet the guy and the sooner the better.

nobody is worth paying $25k to see. If you think so, it's obvious you have too much time and money on your hands.azbuffett wrote:This would be a steal compared to Vegas, I was suppose to meet JB for a fee of 25k, which while it was steep I was ok with since this is my boyhood hero.
