The Beatles "Love"

Post by captenuta »

Any thoughts on the new soundtrack that came out yesterday? I started to listen to the cd in my car this morning but I'm really looking foward to hearing it on my 5.1 system tonight. I saw the show in Vegas it was great but the music was outstanding.

Isn't it a bunch of remixes? How are they?
I saw it in the store but was afraid to take a chance on it.

think of it as Paul's effort to maintain the lifestyle to which he's become accustomed after losing his stuff to the one-legged gold-digger...

I just read some really good reviews on amazon but I'm not The Beatles fanatic that my dad is.
I'll have to get it for him and copy one for me.

R2 I cant believe you said that!!!!

He only lost half his stuff to the one legged gold digger.

I had a friend who saw the show and said if you are a Beatles fan it is a must.

I sat down and listen to the 5.1 audio cd on my 5.1 stereo and it sounds fantastic. I guess you can call them remixes but they are layered in such a way that they stand on their own. Geoge Martin added strings to George Harrison's "While my guitar gently weeps" which gives it a fresh sound. At the show in Vegas I was more into the music the show it self and hearing it at home confirmed that. Since the Beatles have not remastered their original recording's when they do release new compulation cd's such as "Yellow Submarine" soundtrack we can get some songs remastered digitaly.

All jokes aside, I'm a huge Beatle fan but I could care less about this. Paul has always kept his private life quite just as Jimmy does and that's the way I like it. Just give the music and great shows.

I bought the "Love" C.D. today.
It's the BEATLES- that's good enough for me.

We went to Vegas for Jimmy's 10/28/06 show and then saw "Love" the next night . . . If you like the Beatles' music, you'll love "Love"!!! The Mirage built a speical arena for the show and it's pretty cool. There are stereo speakers built into each seat back and the sound in the arena is awesome!
