Men with big feet...

Where the heck do you buy your shoes? Hubby is a size 14 and I have been searching high and low for MONTHS for a pair of flip flops for him and NOTHING!!!!

Can anyone help me????

I'd be happy finding any summer-ish type shoe that is not a Birkenstock ('cause he already has those) in his size. Doesn't necessarily need to be a flip flop, but it CANNOT be a Croc.

There is a very real retail discrimination against us men with big feet! And I for one want to know what Nancy Pelosi is going to do about it!!

There's a great sandle company from Colorado called Chaco and you can order direct from them.

I love thier products and so does Mrs. TR. Their outdoor sandals take a lot of abuse and really hold up well.

Other than that, livng in CA I run across lots of surf shops and when the flip flops start to wear down, the quest begins.

BTW, you do know that size 14 flip flops become skis if you wear them outside in the snow, so I've heard.

A cool story-

When my son hit high school, he had a terrible time finding size 14 gym shoes. Mrs. TR called the Sacramento Kings to ask where they get big gym shoes. They told her about East Bay AND they sent him a pair of size 14 Nike basketball shoes. That was a big surprise!

I too am surprised you haven't heard of Chacos, but I think we've discussed that you're not really a shoe person, or at least it's been mentioned that shoe shopping isn't that fun for you - or something was said, at some point???

Oh, and no offense taken to your Croc crack. Matt definitely doesn't seem the Croc type. Not that there's anything wrong with that. (I've got a pair on right now...no, not the yellow ones, wait for Friday)
