Mine is the 8th... so if I take off on the 9th... we party in Tally on Friday night... show on Sat... drive home Sunday... hmmmm

however, its not going to be an intimate deal... Leon Civic Center holds 13k I think. Its where FSU plays BB

of course mabe there is a theatre w/i the arena, I recall seeing off broadway shows there..

Yeah it holds somewhere between 12 and 13. The number of tickets will of course depend on how they set Jimmy up. Concerts in the past I have been to at the TLCCC have either been with the performer on the floor or with him at one end of the court with the rest filled in. The only bad thing about the TLCCC is the autostics aren't the greatest in the world.

Yes it is, especially when I was a student and we beat Duke. Man I really miss living in Tallahassee.

I know the basics, just not the set-up and rules. I've had a set of double-nines for years, but no paperwork in it. I played as a kid, but like with Rook, I've forgoten the details.

Maybe we could sit down over a pitcher or two sometime. I hold no grudges, I see you clearly, and it just doesn't matter to me.

If not, the internet can give me all the info I need.

Nana,

Of course I can teach you. I have no problem with that.

And I can sit with you over a drink, I hold no grudges either as in I have grown up from years past. Shoot me a PM sometime.

Thinking about this too...from where I'm from on the beaches of pinellas county it's gonna be a 5 hour drive to Tally...and I know the tickets won't be cheap as well. I just hope he's not charging $140+ again...b/c it's out of control.

For those, like me, who don't want to wait for the article to open: Jimmy Buffett is coming to the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center on Feb. 10 for a concert/fundraiser.

Hub took me to HIS first Buffett concert at this civic center on Feb. 14, 2001, and my first one in 20 years. We may have to try to make this one, just a two-hour drive! (The sound was terrible, though. Hope they've worked it out.)

Hope it's not too pricey, too.

Can't think of a better way to spend my 21st. Now the question is are you going to finish the night with a dip in the Wescott Fountian per tradition?
