Does anyone have info about the parking situation at the venue?

Wow. I would kill to be there with y'all. I saw him in Tallahassee something like 15 years ago. For the encore, he did "Death Of An Unpopular Poet" acoustic. It was my favorite live moment of the 20 something shows I've caught.

Enjoy and Go Noles!

I can tell you what I know. The FSU law school is right across the street and sometimes (hit or miss for Basketball games) the lot is open. They have a parking lot for the Civic Center but it is not very big and I imagnie is open to mainly Seminole Boosters (TLCC is now the Donald L. Tucker Center and is owned by FSU). Your best bet is in one of the parking garage for the state employees. I think they charge like $5 to park there and tailgating is fine there, or at least it was when I was a student. Other possiblities are on the sides of the roads surrounding the civic center. Just make sure you read signs to make sure you aren't in a area where you will be towed.

Yeah I would have loved to have caught that show (of course 15 years ago, I was 11). I hope he does just one with "you, me and my guitar" for the Tallahassee show.

Didn't the Noles just beat the Gators in basketball? I believe we have bragging rights until we play again in either sport.

Besides, Tallahassee has the best Guthries location on earth.

Double tree isn't a bad spot. I liked it when I worked at the Capitol, b/c I could just park there and walk to the Civic Center or just work late and walk straight to an event.

I am going to try and inquire more about the parking situation. I however do know that the LSAT is on that same saturday morning. and when I took it we took it in the law school... I hope they have the sense to move it as the noise level will be out of control. however, that will cause the law school parking lot to fill up. So I don't think it will be an option.

I am a fifth year senior that came in 2002... so I can't even imagine the craziness of jimmy buffett in tallahasse. but thinking about it... bring tears to my eyes.

I wish he would play at doak.... but than they couldn't serve alcohol... so maybe not... although if he did play at doak... indian village would be crazy!

I can't imagine only boosters being able to park at the TLCCC. I know the school has control... but that hasn't affected any other concert recently. The concert is a private event. wait... i haven't been to a game yet this year... does the fact that FSU controls the game means there's no more beer? (I almost just want you to lie and tell me I can still have beer) I digress.... I just can't see the booster thing affecting this. I bet there will be a charge... Everyone wants to leave a car there overnight, but with the way towing is around here... that makes me nervous. what do you all think?

I do think that there might be people having to move there cars as there is a game against boston college the next day at the TLCCC.

There are lots on campus, across the street from potbellies on college ave and macomb st. that are open to anyone on the weekend. also further up college there is teacher lots. the green patches around the stadium seem to work out nicely though.
