If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

He was alluding to how the media at the time sucked the a$$ of Donovan McNabb. (Which they did, but I really didn't feel he was over rated).

Apparently when the NYPD starts a "firefight" they also like to finish it.
As far as I know, no guns were found at the scene, except those belonging to the NYPD. Oh, and there were the bodies of some young black men riddled with bullets. Just another exciting night in the Big Apple!
I think Jackson and Sharpton see themselves as carrying on the work of King, ie making this country safe for blacks.
I don't know where they get their money. Where do you get yours?

I don't know how these guys make their money but I don't like them much. Everything is not a race issue imo, although I must say that from my "inside" perspective that most racism or at least the most hurtful is from the white side imo, of course. But then, I'm smack dab in the middle of redneck country.
Just yesterday as I was riding bikes with my son, some idiots blew their horn at us and yelled "white power" out the window. I found it funny that they were yelling "white power" as they were riding away. Cowards. Same thing happened with my wife a few years back except what they yelled was worse. Good thing I was not in my vehicle yesterday or I would probably be in jail. I was that mad.
Either way, racism is stupid

Racism is a horrible thing, to me it shows pure ignorance, and there are racists of every color.
To compare these two to Dr. King is a joke. They may have had good intentions at the start, but they are now in it for the money. "Where do you get your money"? Well I dont take milliions from an organization under the table the way these two do. There have been a lot of investigations and reports on the embezzling by Jackson, but no one will ever take it any further.

I've never had any serious problem, maybe be cause "I'm down" or have always had lots of black friends, I don't know.
But again, It's on both sides and I would not let a few jerks spoil a bunch.
Either way, I put Jesse, Al, Rush, Farakhan, and the like all together in the same catagory: windbags (as rednekk said)

1. The undercover officers were in the strip club as part of an investigation of known prostitution and drug activity in the club.
2. One of the victims was allegedly overheard saying "Go get my gun" or "I need my gun" or something along those lines.
3. The driver of the car tried to run over one of the undercover officers.
Were the officers involved (2 of whom are black, by the way) justified in firing 50 shots? I don't know, that's what investigations are for. But given the facts as they've been reported, I don't know if I would have reacted any differently in the same situation. Especially in the neighborhood were it happened. And yes, I do know the area. It's walking distance from the Long Island Railroad station in Jamaica and I'm not sure I'd want to be there in the daylight, let alone at 4:00AM.
