I was just thinking the last 6 months have been great for JB fans.
We got a tour that ran from June to November.
Jimmy appeared in the movie "Hoot"
We got 5 new songs on the "Hoot soundtrack
DoubleDvd release of the Wrigley Show
A full new CD in "TTWWY"
The release of the Wrigley Shows on CD(maybe downloads too)
Bonus DVD along with the Hoot DVD
Thanks Jimmy!

Did you audition for Scrooge this week?LIPH wrote:Hoot was a lousy movie. We didn't get 5 new songs, we got 3 more cover tunes, a new version of an old song and a mediocre new song. Most of the rest of the soundtrack was unlistenable.
And of course a couple of our BN friends will get to Belly Up in about 3 weeks...nice encore.

2006 was a year of "Good days and bad days, and going half mad days" for us.
Through it all Maria had a VERY successful bone marrow transplant.
We met some of the best people you could ever ask for as friends through Buffettnews.
We chose to face the challenge head on and because of that we are stronger as a family.
It was a great year to be a Parrothead all around.
The excitement from city to city, show to show, appearance to appearance sent a surge throughout this board. This we can not deny.
Jimmy has once again proven that despite the chaos in todays world it's always a good thing to gather with friends who "get it."
So thank you from the bottom of our heart Jimmy for being a part of our lives in 2006.
A very special thank you to everyone from the Charlotte thread who helped me maintain a smile from day to day while Maria was in UNC.
You may be the people my parents warned me about but I would have it no other way. Thank You!!
To everyone here at BN,
THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT YEAR!!!!

Who says I'm not happy? I saw Hoot, I didn't like it. In my opinion, most of the music on the soundtrack CD wasn't very good. Your mileage may vary. Life would be very boring if everyone felt the same way about everything.Wndnwtr wrote:Dear Mr LIPH, I have read several of your posts. I hope Santa is good to you this year. Yes I am a grumpy old guy, I freely admit to that. Next time I have the urge to post a less than glowing comment about something I'll check the forum rules first to make sure I'm allowed to do that.Snowparrot wrote:Larry, you may be a Hot Old Guy, but you're a Grumpy Old Guy, too!
Just say, Thanks Jimmy, and shut up!
