oops, sorry. well here are a few of the quotes from the whodatzone boards:
Hmmmm, Buffet...

Oh, that Buffett... nevermind.
Free blunts for everyone!!!!
All this talk of blunts and buffetts made me hungry.
No, Jonathan Sullivan....he said JIMMY BUFFET!
Pretty sweet!

Hopefully after the ass kicking we put on them (the 49ers) he can go to the 49er locker room and sing "Come monday it'll be alright"

But was Alex Smith that big of a fool?

And miss the entire endzone?

Any chance someone could record this, put it on their computer and upload it to me? :pirate:
I would do it if the game was being broadcasted up here.

They don't normally broadcast the national anthem for network games. The best bet would be if it was on the NFL Network. They played the anthem last night before the local affiliate picked up the broadcast.

At any rate, it would be great if they did and someone was nice enough to share. :pirate:

Okay...emails sent to both the Saints and Fox requesting JB's national anthem performance be made available via weblink after the game. We'll see what happens....

I have Sunday Ticket so I'll check it out, but most likely it won't be shown. I'll post around 1:00 and let you know.

TV....Never shows the National Anthem...... it's usually played before the telecast comes on.....about 5-10 minutes before game time!!

The only time is usually.....Superbowl, Thanksgiving,Playoffs!!!

Noon CST. And Tommy's right, the NA isn't typically part of the broadcast, though they did show it at the Saints Monday Night home opener, but there was all kinds of fanfare and extra stuff around that symbolic game.

phvoz posted this in the other thread, but I don't think this will work over the net because the NA would be part of the game coverage and games aren't available over the internet (league rules).
first time poster here. Long time PH. Wife and kids are PH's too.
www.saintsradionetwork.com is how you can hear the Saints games on the web. They usually play the national anthem too. You'll probably need to register (free I think) so check in a little early to do that and you'll be able to hear it.

WWL radio does state that it doesn't stream Saints or Tigers games ... but maybe they stream all the way up to kick off which might include the anthem?

I don't think they can stream any portion of the pre-game or game because the NFL charges for that right on NFL.com and it's part of Sirius, since the NFL owns all of the content.

If you have Sirius, listen to the Saints pre-game, them may have it.

Nope ... still refusing to pay for what should be free .... hell, if I could get reception where I live, I wouldn't have cable TV
