A brand new forum

I think its kinda sad if a discussion on politics leads someone to not being friends anymore. I have a lot of friends from all positions (uh political i mean) and I think it makes it interesting to see what others think about something, even if they don't agree with me. Its a shame that people have to go to personally attacking people for their beliefs. I think it would be a good idea to have a forum, and limit the politics to there. But since its been vetoed byu the big man, I guess not

Naw. That's what "off-topic" is for!
Well, that and funny captions, and cookie recipes, and name that movie, and football, and baseball, and fudge, and adult beverages of choice...
I mean, you sometimes talk politics in a bar right? Just think of this as an online bar...where everybody knows your (nick)name...

I hang out here to get AWAY from all that. The current "political" debate is two extreemest talking over the other person, trying to get their point across and then they start yelling

Actually I have many fond memories of COBO and the many phriends met there

...I only wish that I had as much time now as I did then to post.....but then again, my big mouth would probably get me in trouble.....

I wasn't talking about COBO as a whole but rather the pd forum. I liked all the other COBO forums

Oh dear god....I don't beleive it....something must be amiss here.....I'm actually agreeing with the lawyer.....A political forum would just encourage it...then it would bleed over elsewhere (when have you known a political activist to stay where they were told to.....like herding cats...)...I don't mind a little politics as long as it is done in a "don't take yourself too seriously" mindset, but a straight out political discussion is better served elsewhere (As in NOT on this website)......
