As long as people agree with me, YES!!!

Don't anybody get their bowels in an uproar-I'm only kidding. 8)
I too was a moderator at CoB,O, and, except for the political crap, I really miss that place a LOT.
NO to a seperate political forum. ABSOLUTELY NO!!!
It ruined CoB,O and brought out the worst in some people (from BOTH sides). I'll be the first to admit I was right there in the middle of all that B.S., and THAT'S something I don't miss.
By the same token, I'm of the mindset that if people are CIVIL, they should be free to discuss whatever they want.
But is a seperate forum needed (or desired)? NO!

There are a couple of people here whose boobies I wouldn't mind "supporting."

I have seldom been so roundly insulted by those who know not of what they spew as when politics gets infused into the forums here. As a Buddhist, I have been maligned by some of the most uninformed, backwards, bigoted individuals on this forum. I thank the moderators humbly for keeping us civil and kind.

I think NO is my view.

The way I see it is if anyone agrees with me, that's one of the last signs of the apocolypse.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

:D :D :D

A busload of politicians were driving down a country road, when suddenly the bus ran off the road and crashed into an old farmer's barn.
The old farmer got off his tractor and went to investigate. Soon he dug a hole and buried the politicians. A few days later, the local sheriff came out, saw the crashed bus and asked the old farmer where all the politicians had gone.

The old farmer told him he had buried them.

The sheriff asked the old farmer, "Lordy, were they ALL dead?"

The old farmer said, "Well, some of them said they weren't, but you know how them crooked politicians lie."

Isn't there a saying that when you're invited to dine at the Captain's table, you don't talk politics or religion? I think we should follow that.

Ditto. We all disagree at times on sports, beer, music, etc...but that would lead to some "real" arguments. And then it would get personal.
