The poster is now for sale through the Belly Up poster gallery
Spelling changed on the Freddie though....hmm??

sorry it's kinda big, that's how it is on the site, which gives it more detail.

the calendar has it with a Y and so does the little version of the new poster, it's in the first post of this thread.

Maybe they don't want anyone copying the artwork from the site and just printing it? maybe???

It's much too small to print anything from... you might get a decent wallet-size picture out of that, but anything bigger would be nastily pixelated...

Hey...I know on message boards this is suspect, but long time viewer, first time poster.

My dad has always been a big Buffett fan, and I've listened off and on through the years. (James Taylor has always been my favorite.) These past two years have brought on quite a bit of personal junk and I've found myself "escaping" more with Jimmy and become a big fan of his writing style.

I'm now living in Aspen and missed Freddy last year, but got tickets this year. There will be four of us going to the show. If we didn't have an obligation already in the late afternoon, I'd suggest hosting something for all of you.

Anyway, thanks for this board and all the information. It's easy to get another CD and use the song database to follow the lyrics. It should be a pretty incredible show.

Peace...

I just called the RFTA info line (970-925-8484 Bus Information). I was told the bus schedule leaving the Midland Avenue Depot, in Basalt (0.03 miles from the Green Drake) is as follows:
The buses leave at :09 & :39 after the hour. The first bus leaves Basalt at 5:09am....the last one leaves Basalt at 1:09am.
The fare is $3.00, exact change when paying on the bus. (they have punch cards, but for one round-trip I don't think I need one)

The buses leave Aspen, Rubey Park Depot (0.05 miles from the Belly Up), at :15 & :45 after each hour. The last bus leaves Aspen at 2:15am...I didn't ask about the first one, but I'm guessing 5:15am?? The fare is also $3.00.

According to MapQuest: Total Est. Time from Basalt to Aspen: 33 minutes Total Est. Distance: 18.65 miles

Looks like the final song last year (Coast Of Marseilles) started right around 11:22. So if anyone is in a hurry to get back to Basalt you could probably make the 11:45.......I'll be in no hurry, and with 5 buses after that one, I think we'll be fine.
