Margaritaville (song) question

Post by ragtopW »

OK.. How many times have we heard this song?
I really don't want to think about how long it's been since
this song was released.
But I was listening to the classic Oldies station the other day and
our National Anthem was played.
I heard the song for the..???? time

OK the question at between two minutes and thirty two seconds and two minutes and thirty three seconds on the song
there starts a little rift that I always thought (or never took notice of)
was a Harmonica..but I now wonder if that litle bit (and some of the
other background music) was a Recorder??

anyone???

There does seem to be a recorder that plays along with a marimba.

What you are talking about may be a melodica or "hooter".

No kidding :o :D

It's sort of hard to think of Margaritaville as a 70's tune, but there was a BUNCH of flutes, recorders and fiddles with Marshall Tucker, John Denver and even that folk favorite...Jethro Tull :P

Marshall T was probably my favorite band until I ran into that long haired guy from Mississippi. Saw MT three times before I saw Jimmy, now I have seen JB about 30 times.

There may not be a better song than Can't You See
"Boat drinks, waitress we........nevermind"
