Good question why JB doesn't play a lot of other tunes from his huge back catalog - there are so many excellent unknown or whatever term songs that he never plays or hardly plays - didn't he do WWWEGHome on the 1997 tour? That's one that could be played a lot more - such a great song. Such a great plethora of tunes to pick from that at this point if he did - he could do one obscure track from each album, all the way back to Down To Earth, and that could make a show in itself. Including some of the compilation tracks, like the Margaritaville albums or Trouble On The Horizon or whatever.
And dammit! When is he going to release the unreleased? He's got to have at least a 20 song album of unreleased tracks from the past 10 years alone, not to mention probably a double or triple release of everything - a true box set.

Such a big chunk of the concert is taken up by "must play tunes" such as "Margaritaville" and "Volcano". I seems like he's now forced to play "Five O'Clock", "Southern Cross", and "Brown Eyed Girl" too. If he has a new album, he's gotta play some tunes from that. That leaves little opportunity to play the really cool "forgotten" tunes. I for one would love to see a Buffett show with no tunes from "Songs You Know By Heart".

Come to think of it, that would be cool undertaking if I get snowed in one day...Go through my live shows and splice together a "forgotten tune" show. Then throw it up as a vine.

Would Cakewalk be a good program to get for blending the live recordings together - the different crowd noise from the live albums so there is a continuous audience but not horribly chopped up? Also how about editing songs? Like making some of the long tunes shorter just for the sake of having that particular song on your own comp but shorter so you can fit more songs on it. The Fruitcakes edit from the promo is a great example but I think they cut out the best verse.
Forgotten tune
May not be a true forgotten, but "Treat Her Like A Lady" ranks up there.
