Song meanings?

I've listened to about every Buffett album and while most of his songs simply tell the tale of a life without worries and recount many of his own memories, that still leaves room for a number of songs I can't figure out what he's trying to say....
Anyone know of a site that contains commentary, by him, on his songs?

I would like to see that kind of thing develop here.
One of the most interesting discussions lately was about the meaning of
Reggabilly Hill. While many desire to not attach meaning to songs, others are quite interested in what motivated the writer and what they were "thinking."
I Can't Be Your Hero Today has puzzling lyrics.

Ha ha! At least Everybody's On The Phone leaves no room for wonder! Great tune too. One of his best songs in years. I love cranking that while driving around and seeing how many people are on the phone while driving. It's way beyond any - if someone were to have told you back in 1988 that by Twentyhundred Six there would be more phones in cars than houses they'd have thought you were nuts.

I dont, but I found that by listening to interviews and concerts...especially the benefits...he is pretty chatty about the songs and how/why he wrote them....

I've always wondered about the hidden meaning in LGDAS

WDWGDAS always puzzled me. Was the snow queen a reference to the Lion the Witch and the wardrobe or am I way off base here?

I think it's actually "snuff" queen.

I always thought songwriters were essentially storytellers. If they do it right, the songs will have different meanings for different people and all of those meanings will be right.

I agree. I read an interview with Eddie Vedder in which he said he didnt like to explain songs because everyone takes different meanings from songs and he didnt want to ruin it. I think the same holds true for JB songs. If a song meant a lot to someone and Jimmy said "hell I was drunk so I wrote some junk down" it might ruin that song for them.
But the inquisitive person in me would like SOME answers
