My Heart Skipped a Beat

What does that for you?
Recently, I truly realized this when my kids ran into my room Friday morning. They were busting with excitement over the first snow AND that there was no school AND that it was my first day home after leaving my job!!!
Yay! When I got out of bed and looked out of the window with them, my five year old said "MOM! Do you believe it? This is PERFECT!"
My heart skipped a beat because he was right. It was.

Gotta love those wild women of BN!!
Seriously though. This happend to me today.
I was driving down a two lane country rd. The were 4 or 5 other cars going the same direction as me and a large box truck about 2-3 car lengths in front of me. I noticed the car last in line pull out and begin to pass us all. About the time he got along side me I saw a car coming the other direction. The passing car cut in front of me and then slammed on his brakes to avoid rearending the box truck I hit my brakes and came within a couple inches of hitting this idiot. How there wasn,t a 6 car pileup i'll never know!
My heart definately skipped a few beats!
