I am partial to the Valley Lodge Burger at the Valley Lodge in Glenview, Il. It's a burger done anyway you want it on either a bun, rye bread, or pita bread. Well, worth your time.

A close second is the Patty Melt at Hackney's. Get that and a side of onion rings. That's living...

Kopps burgers in Milwaukee are pretty amazing, their onion rings rock, bt their fries are lacking. And you can't leave without a milkshake, or a sundae of the month
(I switched to their grilled cheese a few years ago, it just drips from the bread when you eat it. great, now my mouth is watering)

Other then that, I love a good Culvers Butter burger, fries dipped in mayo. Mmmmm!!

Awesome burgers, huge and cheap. In the top picture, if you look down the street, the white van is parked where I used to live. needless to say I made it there several times a week.

Burger House makes the best burgers & fries in Dallas (not just my opinion).

Grew up with the original stand (by SMU), now have one in my N. Dallas neighborhood, and because I take my Son their regularly, it has become his favorite burger joint, too.
